I'm excited to be a part of the Blogger's Quilt Festival (Fall 2017) at Amy's Creative Side.
Twirl Around is a Bonnie Hunter design from her latest book Addicted to Scraps. I changed the colors from pink and green to rust and green.
Thanks to Amy for hosting the Festival!
This is beautiful! I love the rust accents.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alison. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteHard to go wrong with a pattern by Bonnie Hunter. So many beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThanks--when I got the book, I knew this one the first one I wanted to make.
DeleteBeautiful scrappy quilt, I like how you combined all of the different prints together.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had a wonderful time playing with the variety of scraps--who knew I had so much green? :)
DeleteReally pretty! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy!
DeleteLovely fabrics and colours in your quilt. It looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. :)
DeleteBeautiful! This looks like thousands of pieces! Have you counted how many pieces it has in it? That would be a fun number to know! Ha! Thanks for sharing for the festival!
ReplyDeleteI haven't counted, but I may do it. I know I started by making more than seven hundred HSTs! Thanks for visiting. :)
DeleteLovely! The pattern, colors, all of it. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen.
DeleteAngelia I am so impressed at your productivity and love the rust with the green! (And digging on the orange strip sets, too).
ReplyDeleteI've discovered that I really like using rust--hadn't considered it much before. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteRust - the dark brooding cousin of orange. You did wonders with it. Love your emerald and rust quilt.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Preeti. I'm not a fan of regular orange, but I like rust, especially with green. It says "autumn" to me.
DeleteThanks for visiting.
What a wonderful assortment of scraps represented in the blocks of this quilt. LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting.
