Good Fortune Clue 4

I was so glad to have a clue involving strings this week from Bonnie Hunter's mystery Good Fortune.

I am substituting yellow/gold for the orange that Bonnie chose.

A goose and a French hen

Scarecrow, pumpkin, and Peeps!

I am enjoying this project--and I've actually been able to keep up so far! 😺

I'll be linking with Quiltville's Mystery Monday.

  1. I love the bright colors but most of all the birds. You come up with the most interesting fabric. Each piece tells a story so that makes the quilt a book!

    1. The birds are actually a Christmas fabric, but, hey, they are gold! I like to find things in a quilt. Nanny B. had one when I was growing up--every time I stayed with her, I would search for the little black dog--I think she turned the quilt around sometimes, so the dog would be in a different place. :)

    2. I would look for our old clothes 😊 The quilt on my bed now, I always look for the ducks on a brown background to put on my side of the bed 😉
