Another Mystery Quilt

A friend on a quilting forum is running another mystery quilt (Thanks, Judy!). They are always fun, so I decided to join in again.

This will be a donation quilt, so I tried to choose colors outside my usual preferences. I'm going for low-contrast, soft, pastel colors in this one. It is hard for me to judge the outcome of the blocks since I really don't like the colors, but I know that everyone has his/her own taste, so I'm trying to stretch my boundaries on this quilt.

Below are the chosen fabrics:

After completing a couple of clues, here is what I have now:

The colors in the previous photo above are more true-to-life.

Looking forward to the next step to be revealed on Saturday!

I'm linking with Fiber Tuesday 60 at The Quilting Room with Mel.

  1. The fabric is pretty, but not my top choice either. Do you use a die cutter or a rotary cutter and ruler?

  2. I use a rotary cutter and ruler. I enjoy the cutting, so no machine! :)

I love your comments! I have, however, had to add moderation of comments because of spammers. Thanks for your patience.
Happy Quilting,
