Rainbow Scrap Challenge--March--Red

I'm participating in  the Rainbow Scrap Challenge this year. You can find out about it at soscrappy. The March color is red.

Red is my favorite color, so I have plenty of scraps to choose from.

Here are some of my string blocks. I was just playing around with a layout here; I've no idea how it will end up! Some are full string blocks, and some are half neutral/half color.

RED! Yay!

January's Purple blocks

I look forward to this challenge each month; it gives me a chance to make string blocks--one of my favorite things to do.

I'm linking with ScrapHappy Saturday at soscrappy.

  5. I enlarged your red blocks and was rewarded...I love the little feet in the white strips. And what a wonderful collection...can't wait to see it come together.

  7. I like the addition of the neutral strings, it really helps to emphasize the colours, and adds a lot of movement.

    1. Thanks! I like the shape of the block, but the angles of the strings bother me a bit. Thanks for visiting.
