On Ringo Lake--Part 2

This week the clue was to make a gaggle of geese!

Here are a few of mine:

Like real geese, they assumed the wedge formation.

My neutrals are a bit plain, but I found a bag of leftover bits and pieces leftover from other projects, and I wanted to use them up.

Clue 3 will be revealed on Friday, 08 December 2017. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm linking with Mystery Monday Sunday at Quiltville and Fiber Tuesday 137 at The Quilting Room with Mel.

  1. They look like very well-behaved geese, flying in perfect formation!

    1. They actually went together like well-behaved geese--I've never been very confident in making them, but practice makes perfect (or perfect enough!). :)

  2. Your flying geese look fantastic! They will look great with the pretty greens you've chosen! I'm afraid I haven't even finished cutting clue 2 yet.

Visiting from your link on Bonnie's blog and adding you to my reader!

    1. Cutting it took a while--I used small pieces of scraps, so I had to do them only a few at a time.

Thanks for visiting--I appreciate it. :)

  3. I like your fabrics! Not plain at all.

  4. I don't think your neutrals are plain either. Some of the melon fabrics are quite light, so you can't use darker neutrals if you want to keep the contrast working.
    Your units look great!

    1. Yes--that's why I kept these lighter. I figure I can expand the range of shades a bit when they are next to Brown's.

      Thanks for visiting!
