Scrappy Quilt Entry for the Blogger's Quilt Festival

I'm excited to enter Amy Ellis's 2016 Blogger's Quilt Festival at again this year. Amy puts on a great Festival--so many beautiful things to look at--thanks so much, Amy, for organizing it.

My entry in the Scrappy Quilt category is a Bonnie Hunter design; Jamestown Landing.  The original pattern was done in blues, but since I don't love blue, I went with my favorite--RED!

The quilt size is 90" x 104". I quilted it on my Domestic Sewing Machine.

Thanks for looking at my entry.

  1. oh, what a beauty!!! Absolutely stunning, well done!

  2. Beautiful!!! And on my bucket list - love your colors!

  3. I really like this lively version of Jamestown Landing with all the vibrant reds! A good quilt for a variety of holidays without looking like a specific holiday.

  4. Love it! I have the pattern printed off, but I haven't made it day!! Thanks for sharing.

    1. It takes some time--all those HSTs--but it is worth it!

  5. Oh my, those pieces are so small! The border is amazing also.

  6. This quilt is beautiful! Love it!!

  7. Like you, I don't love blue and I do love red. This is a beautiful red and white/light quilt. The diagonals almost look like lace. Beautiful quilt!
